The OnePlus 8 and the OnePlus 8 Pro have been launched. The two phones have been launched through an online event given that half of the world population is under lockdown, working from home, markets are shut and events stand cancelled.

OnePlus 8 series specifications
Processor: Both the OnePlus 8 and the OnePlus 8 Pro come with Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor. This is the top-of-the-line processor for Android phones this year.
RAM: The OnePlus 8 and the OnePlus 8 Pro come in two variants: 8GB variant and 12GB variant. But there is one difference. The OnePlus 8 Pro is a phone with DDR5 memory whereas the OnePlus 8 is still using DDR4.
Internal storage: Both the OnePlus 8 and the OnePlus 8 Pro are going to be available in two variants: 128GB and 256GB variants.
Screen: The OnePlus 8 Pro comes with a 6.78-inch screen, with a resolution of 3168 x 1440 pixels. The OnePlus 8 comes with a 6.55-inch screen with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. Both use OLED panels.
Rear camera: The OnePlus 8 Pro has four rear cameras. The primary camera uses a 48-megapixel image sensor paired with an F1.78 lens. The ultra-wide-angle camera also uses a 48-megapixel sensor. The telephoto camera with 3X zoom uses an 8-megapixel image sensor and the fourth camera has a 5-megapixel sensor with colour filter. The OnePlus 8 has three rear cameras: a 48-megapixel primary camera, a 16-megapixel ultra-wide camera and a 2-megapixel macro lens camera.

Software: Oxygen OS based on Android 10.
Battery: OnePlus 8 has a 4300 mAh battery. The OnePlus 8 Pro has a 4510 mAh battery. The OnePlus 8 Pro supports fast 30W charging through wired charger as well as a wireless charger. OnePlus 8 lacks wireless charging.
