Voice AI startup Smallest.ai has announced a $13 million Series A funding round to expand its enterprise voice AI platform and accelerate the development of next-generation voice technologies. The investment round was led by Seligman, with participation from SIERRA Ventures and 3one4 Capital, alongside several angel investors.

The announcement was shared by Sudarshan Kamath, Founder of Smallest.ai, who also stated that the company's voice AI technology has now passed the Turing test for Voice AI, marking what the startup describes as a significant milestone in creating more natural AI-powered conversations.

Funding to Support Product and Infrastructure Growth

According to the company, the new funding will be used to accelerate innovation across its AI voice models, strengthen its real-time infrastructure, and expand enterprise deployments.

The investment also brings several new investors and advisors to the company's network, including Gokul Rajaram, Allison Pickens, Guillermo Rauch, Amit Zavery, Tristan Handy, Dane Knecht, Umesh Khanna, and Neon Fund.

Over One Billion Minutes of Voice AI Usage

Smallest.ai says its platform has powered more than one billion minutes of real-time voice AI interactions across more than 10 enterprise customers.

The company believes voice is becoming the primary interface between people and software, driving increasing demand for AI systems capable of handling natural, real-time conversations.

Enterprise Customer Base Continues to Expand

According to the announcement, Smallest.ai's technology is currently being used by organizations with large-scale voice operations, including:

  • Readymode

  • Pocket (YC W26)

  • Truecaller

  • Piramal Finance

  • KOGTA Financial (India) Limited

  • CredResolve

These deployments span customer communication, support operations, and enterprise voice automation.
